Hilltop Middle School Fundraising Clubs and Organizations

Clubs must submit an ACTIVITY OR FUNDRAISER APPLICATION and be approved by the ASB prior to Fundraising on school grounds. Please come to the ASB or contract Ms. Reimund for the Form.

Students participating in fundraisers have a Parent Permission Slip signed that outlines the following:

  • The name of the program for which they are fundraising
  • Item(s) to be sold
  • Cost of item(s) to be sold
  • Acceptance of donations clause
  • Inclusion of possible prizes/incentives for students participating in the fundraiser
  • Statement that the fundraiser is not mandatory for any student and will not exclude the student from program participation and/or lead to any negative repercussions.

IMPORTANT: Meal Application Information

Parents/Guardians,

You MUST complete a Meal Application for your student(s) as soon as possible.  Please login to your Campus Portal account at https://campusportal.sweetwaterschools.org/campus/portal/sweetwater.jsp to complete your application.  Students receiving free/reduced meals MUST have a completed meal application to continue receiving free/reduced meals.

IF you are having trouble accessing your Campus Portal account, please come to school to receive a paper application.  You may also apply at the Sweetwater district’s Nutrition Services Office at 1130 Fifth Avenue, Chula Vista, CA 919191, phone # (619) 691-5510.

Your attention and cooperation are very much appreciated and will benefit your student(s).  Thank you.

17-18 7th Grade Orientation

Incoming 7th grade students and parents are invited to attend orientation on Thursday July 13, 2017.

Times are as follows:

Last names A-L 9:00 to 11:00 AM

Last names M-Z 12:30 to 2:30 PM

Come and check out what Hilltop Middle is all about and get ready for the first day of school on Thursday July 20, 2017.

The ASB will be selling PE clothes, uniform shirts, college & spirit at all events. Quantities and sizes are limited. Cash and check only.

***The FLAGS program students will have an orientation on Friday July 14, 2017 from 8:00 to 12:00***

WINGS Newsletter 05-30-17

38th and last newsletter for SY 2016-17…  Someone once said to me, “Are you crazy?! You’re putting out a newsletter EVERY week?!”  Yes, it’s extra work for a first-year administrator who’s already had to navigate challenging learning curves, but the newsletter was a way for me to get to know Hilltop Middle School community.  So regardless of the work, I have gained so much from doing this every week.  It truly was a privilege!

Tdap Booster Requirement

Tdap Booster

All children are required to have their vaccinations fully completed before enrolling in grades TK – 12th unless exempted as provided by law.

 The state of California has required a Tdap booster to immunize against Pertussis, commonly known as whooping cough. Any student entering the 7th grade at Hilltop Middle School for the 2017-2018 school year will be required to show proof of the vaccine by registration this summer. It is the State law.

 If at the time of registration proof of vaccination cannot be provided, YOUR STUDENT WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO REGISTER.

 If on the first day of school, Thursday, July 20, proof of vaccination cannot be provided, YOUR STUDENT WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND SCHOOL.

 Vaccines can be obtained at any SD public health immunization clinic. For times and locations call 760-740-4000. In addition, your local pharmacies are providing the vaccine. Some of the participating stores are: Costco Pharmacy, CVS Pharmacy, Ralphs Pharmacy, Rite Aid Pharmacy, Target Pharmacy, Vons Pharmacy and Walgreens Pharmacy.

 After receiving the vaccine, please give a COPY of verification to the Hilltop Middle School Health Office.  Thank you.
